I just bought a Tomos T-4 Outboard Motor for on my 17' Canoe. I never have had or used any kind of outboard before. So i have some questions. It starts and runs fine. The only thing is stoping it I have to hit the kill switch. Is there suposed to be a netural or reverse. The throtal handel the rubber is all cracked at the end and is all taped up. It looks like something might be missing. The only function it has is speeding up or down. Down is still a fast idle, canoe still moves along. Also there is some kind of outlet plug whats that for.
