tohatsu MF4 flyweel remuval

I want to remove the flyweel cup of my tohatsu MF4 4-stroke but i am confused how to remove it because i tried with a puller but it still want come of im i doing something wrong.

Bring the flywheel nut up to the top of the crankshaft. Hit it with a hammer...Gently...Then with ever increasing force until it pops loose.

Assuming you are using a proper 3-bolt puller (NOT a claw type that will warp the flywheel), you can also tap (with a hammer) on the end of the venter puller bolt while under tension to help pop the flywheel off.
