I posted this to you back in Oct but you didn't reply..<br /><br />"to ZFM.<br />I managed to get the model Lusitania here in Australia, only by giving them the site you quoted above, that had all relevant detail for ordering. (it is a big one too with plenty of small parts).<br />Yes, it is expensive, but it will keep young Hayden busy for 6 months building it and purging the local libraries for books on it. He is fanatical about old passenger ships.<br />It is his Xmas present.<br />Thank you for your time and effort ZFM. Very much appreciated.<br />Cheers<br />Phillip<br /><br />Well he got it for Xmas, hasn't started yet, but instead has been reading everything the Library has on it. <br />It has a lot of painting.<br />He is thrilled, so thanks for the assistance. yep tell him to get us some pics, my grandfather served and worked on that ship for a bit while he was at newportnews shipbuilding many years ago. he was quite proud of it and had many pictures of it when he passed away.

This is the Titanic we did last year. It was his first, so I helped (some may say hindered) him.<br />I will send others of Lusitainia as it progresses.Bigger than Titanic model too. <br />The model has a white hull which needs painting. Being a big area he has decided to use a pressure pack, undercoat 1st of course. <br />He has to ring the paint shop to see if it will stick. <br />Try not to do too much for him, but try to stop mistakes - (I can make enough for both of us).<br />Cheers<br />Phillip
