I know we all like the pl premium for gluing stuff together, I was just given 10 gallons of titebond frp adhesive. It says it's for gluing plywood, do you think I can use it in place of the pl premium?

Re: titebond frp vs pl premium

Type: Proprietary emulsion polymer

"Do not use over treated plywood or metal, plastic, foam board, painted surfaces, sealed concrete, certain types of specially treated or moisture resistant gypsum wallboard, or other non-porous surface"

PL Premium is a polyurethane adhesive

thats the info. im sure you can, but I believe the reason PL Prem is used is because it is a polyurethane adhesive, that holds up better to moister than an emulsion polymer.

maybe someone can elaborate or correct me...
