Can't say this enough...when used boat shopping, you have to search long and hard and don't be afraid to drive some distance. When I bought mine, I searched numerousctimes each day for over three months. Made many long drives to look at junk....but each time I learned something !! Then one afternoon, I responded to an ad just 15 minutes after it was posted, after numerous pics and discussions with the owner, I was interested. Jumped in my car with cash in hand and drove over 200 miles. Talked to the owner as I drove to let him know I was serious and on my way. When I arrived, three others were waiting...due to my almost three hour drive and being the first caller the owner held it to give me first shot. It was near new condition and I knew it would sell quick......my point is, there are nice boats out there, few and far between yes, but you need to act fast and study hard to be the first one. Have cash and ve ready for a long drive. Similiar thing when I sold my boat, had numerous callers on my ad but mostly tire kickers looking for a bargain. When a serious caller that knew what he was looking for reached me. I sent many pics, had all my reciepts and he drove almost a hundred miles the next day. I had two others that were waitng for him to decide....gotta react fast on nice boats !!
