Timing issues

I have a 1985 Volvo Penta AQ125B. I am trying to set the timing and I have finally found the timing marks. Does anyone know how to line them up?

Assuming you mean the ignition timing marks, you'll need a timing light. By chance did you mean the valve timing gears?
