tilt trim system

Trying to find wiring diagram for trim tilt system Volvo penta AQ271C(1990).Is it any connection from the starter to the powertrim pump thrue the 55amp fuse sitting on the starter?

Someone who nows where the tilt trim system get its main power from?

I had a similar problem as you have.

On mine, the problem was caused by a seized trim motor, which was full of water and rust.
After cleaning and lube, it worked fine.

Hi Found this fuse under the engine this summer, changed the starter a little later without knowing that the fuse should be on there and everything else works well. Do you mean that this fuse should be connected behind on the starter and further up to the trim tilt engine?I am not very good at electricity but appreciates that someone bothers to care. Thank you so much for good input.

Look close at the drawing and it shows two 50 amp fuses. This is a cut away of the drawing in your other thread

Hi Thanks for the reply .I have to check if there are any loose wires I do not see. Have a 50 amp cut off fuse that sits next to the coil. I get to check closer tomorrow when I'm in the boat.

Hi. That’s two different engines you’ve mentioned I think. The trim system is usually more suited to the outdrive that you have, I’d think.
