I have a 2000 3.0 Mercury inboard/outboard,the tilt/trim will go down with switch and the trailer switch
will raise it. But the up switch will not work. I bought and new switch harness and it does the same thing?

Any help or ideas?

Thank you

Ayuh,... Welcome Aboard,...

My guess is, the trim limit switch on the drive has broken wires goin' to it...
That's why the trailer button works, it by-passes the limit switch...

Re: Tilt/ trim problem

quick question here going along with this same problem, is it a bad idea to use the trailer button to raise the trim and not even worry about the trim up switch?
