1992 Mariner,225HP, 3.0 liter Offshore Model
T&T Motor runs, but sounds like the motor shaft is sheared, looking through the fill port on the port side, could see some air bubbles, but they went away, engine seems to be stuck in the down position and I need to raise it to take it to the dealer, any way to relieve the hydraulic pressure and manually raise the engine?
(Yes, I know it's heavy!), We were able to move it about 8 inches up, and fluid flowed back through the fill port. but, that is as far as we could move it, I don't want to cause any damage to the engine, so I don't want to try a jack on it before I get the advise from the experts.
Any help or info will be appreciated.
