One more thing while it rains like hell, first storm of the season. Thought it would be a good idea to replace the 2 trim cyl. hoses before we mount the unit. Attempted to disconnect the hoses where they go thru the mounting collar. Hoses moved and were slightly loose but there was some kind of action inside the boat which we could not see so we aboarted the project. Would still like to replace them. Does the engine have to be pulled to get to whatever kind of fitting is on the collar? Both books we use are vague and just say replace the hoses if failed. Volvo 290 DP. thanks fred
