tilt steering column

I have a 1995 Chris Craft 21" concept BR. My Tilt column has worn out, but the helm unit is still good. I cannot fing the MFG of the column & helm unit. I pulled the column and the only markings it has on it are the numbers: # 6626.
I check the helm unit and can see where the MFG sticker once was, but has long ago fallen off.
I was wondering if anyone may have some advice for me to identify the PN# to order the tilt column.

Not sure the brand of steering you got but, go with a Teleflex rather than U flex. It might be a bit more expensive but you will not have to replace it after a few years. I know as I had to do the steering twice!

I spoke w/ Teleflex and was advised that the unit I have is a Morris, which is obsolete. I am going to try and find a new / gently used replacement column, as the cost of retro-fitting with a tilt column is way more than the budget allows.
I would appreciate any ideas on where to look outside the norm.. ( ebay, CL, etc.)
