Tilt and Trim problem

I am having a problem with my tilt and trim on a 1980 Evinrude 150hp. I filled up the tilt and trim with new oil and it worked fine for quite some time. However now when I run my motor up it slowly goes back down. I check to make sure it was full but am still having problems.

Check the emergency release valve and make sure its not loose.

Also possible you may need to rebuild it. Bombardier makes a seal kit for the trim system. 393942.
