Tilt and Trim on 140 Johnson

Tilt motor runs, will go up, wont go down, motor runs but acts like it pressures up on the way down.It is full of fluid and it seems like the solenid is working, it will click on the way up but not on the way down. Could someone help me please figure this out.

Welcome Hog Hunter!<br /><br />Question for ya'. When you check the fluid level, is it with the engine all the way up or down. If down, that's not the way. Run the engine all the way up. Then check the level. If you need to add fluid, add till it comes out the fill hole. Cycle the engine up and down 3 to 4 times and then check again with the engine tilted all the way up.<br /><br />Do this till the fluid level stays even with the bottom of the fill hole.

Thanks OBJ I did do that and it is full. I didnt get a manual with the boat. Does anybody know where I might download one off the internet?
