tiller auto pilots???

I am getting a st1000 (raymarine) for my kicker on my walleye boat. I was looking for some input as to how people that have used them think of them. Or any tiller auto pilot for that matter.

More will chime in, but I honestly didn't know they made autohelms for tiller outboards (Tiller sailboats is another matter). Do you have to lock the throttle down somehow?

Ayuh,... I've got a Raymarine Sportpilot+ on my boat...
It's a Fine system, but sucks for trolling,...
It can't keep up with the wind blowin' the hull off course...
Once I get to 5mph, it works Great, up to Wot...

I honestly think what you wanta do,.. Won't Work....
