thunderbolt ignition wiring diagram

350/260hp mercruiser with thunderbolt ignition system. replaced original distributor pickup sensor but need wiring diagram? original had threaded studs but new sensor has pigtails? also does black wire from pigtail need grounding to distributor or is block okay? thanks!

Oem ignition sensor kit will have proper connectors to attach new style sensor leads to the ring terminal ends for the module/shift interrupt switch. Ground lead goes to the block stud for main battery ground located at the flywheel cover

Installing anything aside from oem ignition sensor is a waste of time and money

i need to know which engine leads go to which terminals?

If you purchased an oem (quicksilver brand) ignition sensor it comes with proper/necessary parts and detailed instructions on how to install/connect the sensor

I'm guessing you purchased an aftermarket sensor?
