thru hull fittings i.d.

i need to replace drain tube on aluminum boat original hole is to beat up for stock tube so i figure a thru hull is way to go i'll use big o ring behind the nut for a gasket i picked up ebay 1 1/2" s.s .seller said id was 1" but he was wrong it's 1 1/4" does anyone no rough id for the given od i'm guessing a 1 1/8 is one i want help thanks !

bondo 1"would be to small id right?thru hulls are measured from the outside so hose can fit over barb i bought a

1 1/2" outside, comes to 1 1/4 id to big for a toggle style drain plug i prefer. one of the marine catologs used to give the est inside diameter for each fitting size forgot what company that was hoped someone here would know, years ago i used a thru hull for a jon boat that didn't have a stock drain it was a small one but i used a 3/4"rubber baitwell plug that worked ,
