thru hull fitting for raw water washdown

What is the best sealant to use to install a bronze through hull fitting. I am installing a raw water washdown. No wood in my hull construction. I've been told to use life caulk and also others have said to use 3M 4200.

3m4200 on any thru hull application. anytime you drill a hole seal with 3m4200.
