I have a 2002 Suntracker pontoon, I ended up with a Force 90 hp to take the place of a Merc 60 hp. I thought since the force was by Mercury everything would hook right up. Everything did but the throttle/shifting cables. Can I just change cables? Or whats the best thing to do?

Yes. Many marinas carry replacememt cables. Try the online store here, ebay, Overton's, and others for the right cable-- and don't forget to get the proper cable length.

If it is a 1995, or newer, Force 90HP there is an adaptor kit for your cables available. That motor uses mercury cables.
