Hi again

Not expecting any help or trying to bash anyone. Just want to warn fellow boaters so they don?t run into the same problem as I. Read these comments about Lanier Marine Liquidators on another forum and decide for yourself.

Re: Thread for complaints...?

It's a pity those links were zapped by the moderator as they contained some very useful information for anyone considering buying a boat from that dealership (Lanier). I, for one, would never buy from them after having read those threads.

Edit: I suppose the links are still available but you have to manually copy and paste the addresses into your browser.

Perhaps we should allow at this forum some kind of "dealership bashing" so that we can help each other avoid bad deals.

Sorry, never happen. No flamming or bashing of any kind is allowed.

links were not zapped, just made into a reference. copy and paste. these are the things, that can happen with you don't dot your "I"s and cross your "T"s, in a contract, and buying over the net. just a good example of not checking the paper work, when you pay and take delivery.

Re: Thread for complaints...?

Lanier sells salvage boats. Look at the pictures of their stock and then read the descriptions. I nearly busted a gut laughing. There is a photo of a boat where the vinyl is completely decayed and there are rotten holes in the floor big enough to swallow a basketball. The caption says it needs a little TLC and new seats. No mention that the floor and stringers are completely rotted! What a laugh.

Its a salvage yard.

This boat is On Sale for $900 and is described as "needing minor interior work" and "motor not included", but they have outdrives to fit...
