Flabum,

I thought a soggy or leaking float would cause a flooding condition because it is not shutting off fuel flow to the carb, not the opposite. Can you please explain.

Guys, many thanks for all your help.

I rebuilt the carb, again. This time blowing the holes out with 120 psi of air.

Engine runs good now at any rpm, at any temp, and at any choke level.

Must have been the idle circuit, I learned alot here.

During striped bass season is not a good time to be scratching your head with a engine problem, thanks for making quick and easy.

You're right.
Diagnosis is difficult with out accurate information.
peejcj8 said the carb was rebuilt... who would know that the carb was still the problem?
Sometimes it's a wild goose chase but as long as everyone is out enjoying themselves!!

And don t forget to change your oil, probably a good bit of fuel in there
