A company issued consumer warning concerning composite decking made by Louisiana-Pacific Corporation as of 8/7/08 involving decking products made after January 1st, 2005.

i still dont know if decking is the way to go........(with a boat)

if you make the decision to go comp instead of wood.......then there is other real products out there that will be better....like penski board

Understood. I know from reading through the forum that there are some folks tossing around the idea of using composite decking for their stringers. Thought it might be a good idea to make that info available so they can make an educated decision. Me, I wouldn't touch it. Especially now.

its allways a good idea to post stuff that we all might be using.......thats why we have a safety sticky at the top of the forum
