Thermostat and pissing issue

Could a bad thermostat cause the engine not to **** out of the exhaust ? And where is everyone sourcing the replacement gasket and thermostat at 1990 force 50hp

Iboats has them on this site....Sierra #18-3556.....in stock. Buying from them helps support this forum. They don't carry a lot of parts for these old motors, but if they have what I need I try to buy from them. (y)

I’m going to check them out hopefully they come with the orings because I seen a few that didn’t come with orings and gasket

It doesn't say they come with gaskets and seal....so probably not. (n)

This site, it used to have parts diagrams for your motor???
Buy from here, if not then Ebay is a good place and often cheaper.
Now you gotta have the part #s from somewhere ??
Boats.net has diagrams.
