I had pulled the thermostat several months ago, did not take a picture of it coming out.
The manual is conflicting on the thermostat spring, in toward the engine, or out toward the cover. I was thinking in toward the engine but the blowup of the 4 cylinder power head shows it facing out.
In toward the engine, right?
