hello all. Im new here, and i think its a great forum. i just bought a 1988 maxum 20 footer with a beautiful force 125 hp. i found answers to some of my questions here. floor rot,shifting problems, seat and upholstery rot ect. Well, now I need help or advice. you see,exactly one month after i got the thing some ******* pulled up to my house in the middle of the day, hooked up to my trailer and drove off with my boat! everyone please be on the lookout for a maroon and grey two tone boat with cracked and peeling seats and plywood over the rotting floor.the trailer is also maroon, and not yet registered.there is a reward offered.it was stolen wed,6-27 @ 2:30 pm, from poughkeepsie new york.all help is welcome, advice ,tips, or info. thanx<br /><br />------------------<br />cptnjon

That really bitez, John. I'm sorry to hear it. I hope it was insured, and I will keep an eye out down here for a boat fitting that description.<br />I hope they catch the mutants who took it.

Gezz that really bites, the same thing happened to my buddy ever since hes chained cement blocks to the trailers wheels with heavy duty locks. You can also buy whell locking devices for about $50cdn there definetly worth it! Really gives those ******* crooks a tuff time. The wheel locks are also good to bring with you when your traveling to around and you want to leave your boat to go get some food without having to leave your boat all hitch up!
