Re: The Stones
I dont watch football with the egg shaped ball (a girl sport), so I didnt see the Stones. Regardless of good or bad halftime show, it is the fool that thinks the Rolling Stone, Incorporated is anything other than an immensely successful business entity. They pull down something around $150-million+ annually.

Jagger may have had a colorful time during the earlier years of the Stones, but the guy was in a school of economics prior to the Stones. In the early 90s the Stone signed a contract to play Japan. Jagger crossed out their payment amount in yen and hand wrote in the equivalent amount in US dollars. By the time the Stones had completed their Japanese concert obligation, the yen had tanked and the Stones picked up a few $million more than they would have if paid in yen.

Fwiw, Jagger owns nothing, literally. Everything is leased by Rolling Stones, Inc as a tax right off. Led Zepplin may have kicked in the door that allowed rock n rollers access to the mega-bucks, but no one in rock n roll has managed their business as well as the Stones.

So I dont care what anyone says about the bad boys of rock n roll, they got their doo-doo together. And I think they get extra points because when they were in their 50s, they each had girlfriends under 24 years old.

Personally I dont care for their music after the Some Girls album, prefer their earlier stuff when Brian Jones was in the band. Used to buy those albums as new releases. The Stones make ME feel old!
