I unfortunatly didnt take those pics. My uncle wants to move to the gulf coast and a friend of his sent them up to him. they were taken as Katrina came ashore.

yeah that could be......I dont have anything to go on except for their word, to which I am not even a primary source. Either way they are cool pictures. Ever since I have had them the time of day and stuff just seemed off, as well as lack of dark clouds around the storm. Being that I live in the upper midwest I dont have much to go on as far as what a hurricane even looks like etc.

Cool photos, but Katrina was 450 miles accross. It'd be a pretty amazing camera to get the whole storm in the frame, as backround to a single hiway shot.<br /><br />Still, a midwest storm cell can be pretty impressive.

hmmm guess i have been fooled....sorry bout that fellas. still cool pics though. I think I'll have to talk to my uncles friends about that one.......they clearly lied.

Yes, definately a wall cloud. Cool start of a tornado though! Great pics anyway, thanks for sharing.
