Re: The official 2011 Starcraft outings on the water picture thread

Hesitation was right in the beginning. I was at a dead stop, and just as she started the video, I goosed it. Sounded like it was gonna die for a split second, then it was gone. And I've got to start looking for something called a jetavator, or something like that. It goes between the bowl on the snoot and the diverter which makes you go forward reverse. It moves up and down, and sort of works like a trim tab. You push it down, and the bow of you boat goes down some and rides in rough water smoother, you don't ride up on the waves, but part way down. It also keeps the rooster tail below the surface. You should loose a couple mph. When you turn it up, it lifts the bow up a little, and you should gain up to 5 mph. It handles better on smooth water. And the jet skis that are trying to jump your wake all the time get wet, or so I'm told. Spraying back over 100 ft, it should go between 20 and 30 feet high. I could get in real trouble with that. I'm getting quite a shopping list again for this toy.

I saw a Romulan vessel lying in the weeds near nautical mile, St. Clair Shores. The dilithium crystals are long gone but the snootivator thing is there I'm sure. Yes guys the cloaking device was the first to go, Ferengi scrappers are everywhere.:p

Seoiusly that thing is the bomb. I feel the need for speed. I saw a picture someone posted on my fishing website. The guy had a 14' jetboat. It's March and there's still ice on the lake. He's sitting in the middle of a hole, in an ice flow, up to his neck in water, having a beer. He's got a wetsuit on and his boat is anchored to the flow. He probably only needs 6" of water to go. Way too cool.

Keep the pictures coming guys, they look awesome. Vids are great too.

Nice boat but way to high in the front Sure will misss the good weather for a while. A set of trim tabs would give you more speed and a better ride.

Very choppy that day, had to trim it up like that to keep from getting beat to death at speed pulling tubes. It planes normal on smoother water .

First time the boat has been on the water in over 3 years. My daughter thought it was great fun!

Welcome back tev, haven't seen any thing from you in a while. Was that your Starcraft for sale last fall on CL? Blue and white Starcraft, restored last spring. Good to see you're still around, not many from N Idaho. I never made it to Priest last summer, but got on Pen D'Orielle a few times. Still not finished with mine tho.
