I am looking for a project cuddy to restore. Is their any real concerns about the Hull glass itself. I know the stringers and transom may need replacing and I think I can handel that but what about the glass itself. Does it break down or blister beyond repair.

About 99% of the time the hull itself is fine, most issues would be somewhat easy to see, blisters, cracked or crazed gel coat, fractures, delaminated areas, etc. Just stay away from cored hulls and you shouldn't have any problems.

another thing with glass especially on the keel.....is that when the glass turns white......this is uasually just a strand or two....but it limits the glasses ability to take the resin....the white strands should be cut or ground off
