Rod, I am going to take some time to look into unit 731. My Dad was just a kid of 17 in 1942 when he signed up and went to war. When he died he still refused to drive Jap cars, fly in Mitsubishi airplanes, and avoided all products he could made in Japan.
I had an uncle POW in Germany (bomber pilot) and he felt the same about the Germans. Despised them and did not care about the Berlin wall or anything else bad happening to them. He weighed 87 pounds when he was rescued and suffered stomach problems his entire life.
What amazes me on both counts is how we taken these countries and VN as our great friends and yet still hold a grudge against Cuba. Somethings are just too political for me.
