i thought id throw my crappy project on the web for laughs
1. free boat hull in desperate need of repair / scraping .
2 . ca 40L of polyester , glasfiberand 5 Felic blankets .
3 . some wood scraps
4 . and some albow grease , cursing and some imagination

when i first got it , it had been standing under some bushes for some years and had plants gowing in it .
after washing it a couple of times with some serious cleaning agents and a strong water jet washer i started to cut the rotten flore and Styrofoam out .did some half *** repers and let my imagination go loose .
it didn't have a top so i made one. first i made a timber frame and stretched fleece blankets over and gave it a good coat of polyester . When it hardened i threw on some layers of gassfiber and some more polyester . .
well i was going to make it rain proof ( removes rain water andsuch by it self butt i have to have something to do next year : D
ps i don't want to make it pretty cause then my wife wants to sell it . . . just like she did last year : mad :

Very interesting project boat you have! Do you have a sketch of the finished result? The way the sides are being constructed it almost looks like a hunting boat. Good luck with the project and please keep the photo's coming. Ron

nope dont have any sketches just makeing it up as it comes..
the previus ovner sayed that he used it to move cement, briks, wood, stone and sand. to a summer house on a island and sayed that it playned werry easaly with a 10hp outboard... im thinking about using a 10hp honda 4 stroke at first to see how it gose. i also have a 25hp johnson/evinrude that realy kickes butt i dont have stearing or kables for the hand control so maby next year..

I notice in the last shot the boats in the background are sitting on the mud. Is that one of those places that has a big difference between tide heights? Like 3 meters or so?

Do you have any idea how old your boat is?

25hp next year
there is usaly about ca 1M diffrence in the tide.

it isent mud... the bay is just full of see grass and seweed rubbish. its ok as long as you dont have the motor running for to long at this plase (it can clogg the cooling) and you have to have good cote of protection under the waterline or els it will get grean realy quick.

im nott sure of the age of the boat or even what type it is... im guessing ca 15year old

ps . its nott supose to be 100% smoth... just a cheap easy to use boat

ty always happy to get some replys

now ive cut the wood for the flore. 15 mm it will get some good cotse of 2comp paint (both sides)to ceep the rott away... and som reinforsments.. then it will get some sicaflex in the ends and joints... and polyester and glassfiber fore safe meseures

ps some adjustments left

now its at see ... i got to temted to go fishing and injoying life that i just macgyverd it useable... do the rest next year...

some wood for seats , instaled a drain plug and some fittings.. instaled my small fish finder, waterpump and thew the motor on...i found out that it dident runn as good as it shud butt still its useable and i have 2 othere motors if it getts so inoing
