Her husband died.

Your kids have a nice stash for college, life, etc. That's a good thing from a bad thing.

I think the rest is sad, because the money is compensation for a loss and is not found riches.

I might see why she's your ex now.

Its cool the kids will have around 700k to play with after the govt gets through with the "gift".

Someone obviously went after a company or a doctor somewhere and won to get the 15 million. What type cancer did the guy have and what were the grounds for the law suit?

Summer Fun I had an awful divorce as well. Yes we have a very "strong" dislike for each other....but I try not to disrespect her, after all she gave me great kids, and her influence on them helped make them the outstanding young men they are today. That in itself makes her worthy of respect no matter what our feelings for each other are.


Glad to hear your kids will have a comfortable future. I hope they buy gas for ya every time you take them out on the boat with you. Especially since the prediction on fuel prices for the summer are looking mighty bad.

She got a $15mil settlement because her husband died of cancer.

I told her to use some of that money on a facelift and liposuction.

She did give $1mil to each of our 2 daughters.. so they are set for life now.

Now its my turn to borrow money from them.
