the fishery is known for alot and i mean alot of fish, but not the sizes. Its been like that for years on those 3 rivers in PA. Kinda makes it nice to see who will win at the end of the day though and not on the 1st or 2nd day. KVD is still going to win, but it will be nice to see by how much and if there will be a shootout tie.
im the same way its goods,it looks like its an even playing feild id rather fish in conditions like that myself,i just thought there would be some bigger fish turned ,but theres still tommarow,im betting on the G man,
Thats it I am going to quit fishing. Poor little fishies. I just didn't know!!! Tonight I will ask for forgiveness and turn my life around.

NOT!!!!
those peta people are the worst!they use tactics that are so over the top ,if they had there way everbody would be eating tofu and singing kumba ya. go swindle its going be exciting.
great!im surprised kvd is doing so well with jerk bait i wouldnt of thought about throughing it in july,i guess thats why there the pro's,wounder what the water temp is up there? the temp here is 91 deg.
great classic kvd did good, wonder if cochran is still going to get out of the bassmasters?this classic was a tough one small fish small weights, wait until the next one in feb at toho big fish big weights.
This Classic deffinetly tested the mettle of the Bass Fisherman. Fishing has been slow along the Three Rivers area for the last couple years. So to us that live in the area, it wasn't a big surprise that kreel weights were low. What was surprising was that with that big of a field fishing hard for three days, do one broke the 3+ lb weight for one fish. They are in there. But it was an exciting weight in. Would have been nice to see Martens take top honors....came close....again.
I just got back from Pittsburgh after having a busy 5 days working the outdoor expo. Thursday evening I had the opportunity to meet many of the Pros and fit them up with new Costa Del Mar sunwear.

After seeing how the man demonstrates personal integrity, I am glad he is the one going home with the Classic title. At the VIP day before the Classic, he was the only one to donate MDA his services who auctioned a full day on the water with KVD.

The folks who did their homework knew it was going to be a low weight tournament right out of the gate and prepared accordingly. You know the fishery is challenging when a pro blanks on the first day. Granted you have your southern lakes with a lot more bass to show for but I think this Classic proved to seperate the men from the boys.
