Temp Alarm for 1985 115 HP Mariner?

Is it possible to have a hi temp or low flow alarm on installed on a 1985 115 Mariner? <br /><br />Thanks in advance for any thoughts.

Yes... look right next to the top spark plug and there might even be a pre-tapped hole for the stock Mercury overtemp sensor.<br /><br />-W

Interesting, Clams. I just noticed the tapped hole the other day and wondered what it was for.

There you go.... use the lead out of the sensor to ground a 12v "hot-horn". Game over.<br /><br />-W
