1973 VIP 17' bowrider trihull w/120 hp mercruiser I/O. 40 years, with the expected amout of upkeep, runs like the day it left the yard

I have a 1958 Performer out of Paramount, CA. It has a 1962 Mercury 650 thunderbolt. I love this little boat.

I have a 2001 Sylvan adventurer 1700 SC with an 85 hp yamaha (formarly a 50 hp force) Picked it up on craigslist for $400 a few yrs back
if your wondering why so cheap, The first 2 pics will tell you why.

It looks like the bottom 3 pics now. Not the prettiest repair but hasn't leaked a drop since and I,ve been in some pretty good chop with her.

3rd owner of a 52 yrs. 16' 1961 Seawolf, w/Johnson 40 hp completely original including front light flag staff except for an added stereo, depth finder and 1st time carpeting soon to be installed.
Garage kept with exception of 2 yrs (had to build a home for it) and it was covered then, runs and looks great.

It seems with times getting tighter more and more prople will be holding on to that old boat they own. My question is How old is the boat that you own currently?

First boat for me.
1985 Bayliner Capri 1950 cuddy with 2.3L Volvo Penta AQ125B engine and 270 outdrive.
I purchased it for a fantastic price as the circulation pump was broken and it is a part that is no longer available.
I was able to fabricate a modified automotive pump to fix it.

Paid $ 800 for it last year and put another $ 800 or so into GPS/fish finder, VHF radio, stereo, electronic ignition and upgraded interior LED lights. It runs like a top and and has only 280 hours on the engine. This boat was obviously babied as all the vinyl was in near perfect shape. Even came with a replacement vinyl for each of the type of seats and a full camper cover.

thanks was ordered as you see it i have all the paperwork showing when it was ordered. 1957 boat 1958 lark 35hp 1957 trailer .
