47 -- 1965 on the boat. 54 (original, unrestored) on the 1958 35 hp Sea King. Still working on the windshield issue, and currently re-powering with 50 hp Honda 4-stroke.

A new owner here of 3 days, but the boat , motor , and trailer is 35 years old. Traded for a "project boat" then a fishing boat. I do have to replace the floor and some vinyl. Buts that minor to me. Some glass work on the motor cover too. securedownload.jpg

'03 Sea Pro 180DC with 90 hp Johnson Sea Pro outboard .... the only boat I've ever owned that if the motor goes, we would keep the boat and repower it with a new outboard

2000 Larson LXi 226. No way I would pay $40k+ for a new one, looked long and hard and found one for less than $9K with less than 50 hours on a new engine. Sure, it's got some normal wear, but overall great shape. I'll use the extra money I saved to buy more fuel!

My boat is a 1964-66? Wellcraft R1500V runabout with a 1966 33hp johnson outboard. I also have a 1961 Larson all american with a 1973 50hp johnson, but that boat is headed to the donation yard.

Current boat is a 1996 Mariah Shabah 180 SE ...previously owned a couple little tinnys from the 60's that were my grandfather's before I got em. Also owned a late 60's Glasspar. (not sure of years or models on the last 3, I live in KS so there were no titles so it was all guess work when we got rid of them)

Although I am the 3rd owner of my boat.... and it's only 3 months old to me.. my boat is almost 60 years old!!!... It is a 1953 Alumacraft 16' Model K. I am in he process of giving her a nice make over... going slower than I thought!

Re: Tell us how old is your boat?

Current and best boat I've had so far is a

1981 Glastron SSV194
MerCruiser (305 cid) 228hp

Closed bow, seats 6, although the capacity plate says I can seat 8. I took it on a 90 mile cruise around Lake Pend O'Reille at 3000 RPM (With the exception of idleing while eating lunch) on a little less than 19 gallons which comes out to about 5 MPG. At Seafair this year, Idleing from 0530 / 0600 alamost non-stop (Shut it down for the air shows) till aobut 1800 / 1900 or about 13 hours and only used between 8 and 9.5 gallons. My smaller and newer 1996 Glastron GS160 with a 140hp Inline 6 Mercury outboard used between 13 and 15 gallons doing the same thing.

I am so happy with the mileage this boat is getting and the ride it has, I plan on keeping this one till it sinks, breaks, or I die. Which ever one comes first. :)

I've got a 1961 seamaid with a 1976 50 hp mercury that runs mint! The boat, however, looks it's age:)
