Still haven't heard a reply as to whether my Evinrude, (1974?) 115Hp has the tell tale...cannot figure out why water goes in but can't see it come out...worried that we'll heat the engine without water distribution...model #115493-B

Don, <br /><br />Similar to my '76 Johnson 85hp, your motor does not have a tell tale. I've been advised to add a tell tale by drilling and tapping a hole into the water jacket and installing a fitting and small diameter fuel or vacceum hose to be used as a tell tale.
