Teleflex steering cable source

I have a teleflex steering cable. The part number appears to be ssc12473. I thought the last two digits were supposed to indicate the length in feet. There is also 13-5apr89 after the part number. I assume that is the length of the cable and then when it was made. My problem is that I can't seem to find anywhere that sells this cable. Does anyone know of a place where I can get one?

Teleflex was bought out by SeaStar, if I remember correctly. Measure the cable.

Ayuh,....... Buy the helm, 'n cable as a "Kit",......
It's not much more that just the cable, 'n helms wear too,......
'n if the cables have changed over the years, you'll know it'll fit properly,.....
