Teleflex rack steering mounting question

Does anyone know the maximum thickness of dash that the Teleflex rack steering shaft will mount in, and still be able to mount the steering wheel? My board is currently 3/4" thick but I may want to add another 1/8 to 1/4" thickness applying some "finish" wood over it to dress it up. I don't see that in the instructions & having trouble figuring it out.

Current state of dash:

You might have to notch out the back portion of the wood but I doubt it. I am pretty sure you should have the room....... tou could call teleflex on Monday to verify

Shop around on the net. You can find a good price. I guess it is ok to say I got my cable at partman/ lighthouse marine in Long Is. NY and they have a flat $10 shipping fee. Good for buying multiple items. Good Luck

Thanks. Actually, that's what I did and I have the system. I just can't find anywhere in the paperwork where it tells the max. surface thickness for mounting. I agree, you always have to look for good deals on shipping if you can find them.
