trying to find out the value and year of a ted williams 15 hp motor. serial number 3j-582127. any help would be appreciated.

Never seen a Sears outboard model # that looked anything like that. Seen some squirrelly ones, too. 3J whut-wut? I got nuthin'.

i also have a 5hp clutch shift ted williams motor and the only numbers i can locate on it are 152496... i was told it was probably a late 50s or 60s model... can anyone help? i am new to the site and could not figure out how to post my own thread, sorry!

it starts with 3j. i know nothing about these motors.
