I built a console door out of marine grade, teak veneer plyood. It looks great. I have teak trim around the boat which I recently added teak oil.
Should I oil the veneer face of the door?

I noticed when it got wet, it had a water mark, that dried and disappeared, so I'm wondering.

Thanks
Dwight

Yup. It will keep it looking good and help it weather the elements.

Thanks, I thought it had a "coating of something" on it, but it is probably just because the veneer is new.

I just bought some of that veneer as well. Planning on using Cetol Light, especially on the edges to keep the veneer from lifting.
