I hear most of Manatee county is without power. That’s what my sister came home to but her house if fine otherwise so that’s good

There is one large oak that is down in the side yard, contractor said $1400 to make it go away, done. Kinda sucks people losing their entire home, car, possessions and an empty house gets no damage.

Power came back early this morning. Still about 50% of the county without power

My sister is still without power. She keeps complaining she just wants to go home.
I get it but I have to remind her that she has a home to go to. Many don’t. The grass is greener on her side of fence.

Bad as Milton was, I feel like it was better than expected. If power out is your only problem, you fared great. Location means all the difference, except when a hurricane spawns tornados. I was surprised about tornadoes; I did not know that was a thing.
