we had pet pics a while back. i caught this one this morning. you all know Tasha, but i features Sam, last year. he is now 14 months, Munchkin. only has 3 inch long legs.
My 10 week old pure white kitten can't get around the dogs without playing with their tails or paws. Last night she kept playing with my 14 year old black lab mixed, he did growl and even snapped but he wasn't out to hurt the kitten, he'll get up and walk off before he bites her (the kitten) I've seen him do it several times.
It's basically the same with the other dogs, my german shepard wanna be and my pit bull mixed. Shank the german shepard wanna be will pounce around and bark at the kitten sometimes chase the kitten.
The black lab and maybe even the pit bull mixed were around when we had our last cat that died at the age of 14.
Always nice to see them get along. I have a 6 yr old Sheltie and a 5 yr old cat and they're the same. Just like brother and sister and they actually miss each other when they're apart for days.
Do they play with each other (agressively?) Mine like to scruff each other and chase each other around the house, yet you'll find them sometimes laying together and licking each other as well.
we have a total of 3 cats, and Tasha. the old cat tolerates Tasha. the other one Tasha mothered also, but she is now a inside/outside cat. she learned to go thru the dog door, by going between Tashas legs when she went out. her first time out, i heard Tasha raising cane, walk out and Tasha had Pooh in her mouth trying to bring her back in. after that we could not keep her inside. Sam, is scared to death of outside. he will sit on the screen porch and watch.
Wow, he does have short legs. I've never seen that before...kind of unique.
That said, between the two of them who is the boss? (...there is always a boss)
BP
actually they are very respectful of each other. Sam being the neutered male THINKS he's the boss, of the feline family. Tasha is extremely laid back, except when someone is around her boats.
