Tank Question on specifics

I am purchasing a 1956 Evinrude 7.5 HP Motor, and I am new to the boating scene. I was wondering what I exactly need to make the motor operational such as fuel tank and hoses? Any info would be good. The motor is coming as is and does not have the hoses that go to the tank as well as a tank. Also a round about price if anyone knows for the tank and hoses. Thanks

$50 to $100 for a used tank w/dual line hose and connector.

You need a dual line pressure tank, NOT a single line tank.

The '56 does not have a fuel pump, so uses the pressure tank to supply fuel to the carb. A fuel pump can be installed if you so choose, and run a newer single line tank.

Post a wanted ad at aomci.org in the webvertize for a known good tank. Likely get one for 50 bucks or so.
