Im looking into buy a 2013 Tahoe Q4 sf. I have found many mixed reviews on the power of the engine in this model but not many reviews with the engine installed in the Tahoe Q4. Does it have enough power to get a grown man up on a wakeboard with a boat full of people? I dont regularly do any water-sports but would like my boat to be capable of it. Any experience/advice is appreciated.

To put it simply, No it does not. 190 HP for that boat is just not enough when loaded plus pulling a skier. It could pull around an inner tube though for the kids.

My last boat was a Glastron Gt185 with a 3.0 merc. I think that would be about the same size boat. I never pulled a wake board but we do a lot of skiing. Also a couple of people that had never skied before learned behind that boat. So I say that boat will do anything you ask it to do. The biggest thing to remember is to keep the boat balanced. You cant have everyone in the back of the boat and expect it to jump out of the water. That boat is probably rated at 8 people but 4 to 6 would be a full boat. I think a set of smart tabs would do a boat that size wonders!!
