Tahoe Boat

Been looking at boats and I think a Tahoe 215 I/O is what I want. Anyone have comments? I go to a couple boat forums and they are all of the opinion that you need a $50,000 boat. I think the $38,000 boat is fine. They often comment about the 2001 Tahoe that a friend of a friend had was trouble.

I bought a brand new Tahoe 215 I/O last year and am very happy with it. Lots of room to roam, good power to tow skiers/tubes and very sharp looking. It is quite heavy though. I highly recommend this boat. Good bang for your buck. Let me know if you want a more detailed overview and I'd be glad to help you out.

If you buy Tahoe look it over good for gelcoat cracks.Tahoe does not warranty them.I bought a new '05 Q4SF and there was a small patch of cracking where the swim platform meets the hull.The dealer said they could fix it but fearing a cure worse than the disease let it go.Now these cracks cover a larger area and several run down the side to the first cleat (about 2').Tahoe will not fix it.I know the boat isn't going to sink but they sure will hurt resale value.

What is your opinion on the ride of the deck boat? I am looking at purchasing the 195 within the next week or so and the ride is what i am most concerned with.
