Tahoe 215

I'm new to boating, but we were looking at a 215XI at our local Bass Pro shop. Anyone have anything positive or negative to say about their experiences with this boat? Or their experiences with Bass Pro Shops??

My father has this boat. I can tell you a couple things. First of all, it sits low in the front. On rough water if you have a couple people sitting up front, they will get wet. It rides somewhat rough in rough waters too. The 4.3l V6 option is underpowered for this boat.

It does have a great seating arrangement. Speakers are positioned well. On a smooth lake it is a great boat, and it holds 11 people. His has been very reliable, it is a 03 or 04. My father opted for the aluminum trailer because he takes it in salt water on occasion.

Overall for the size of boat, you cant even touch a Bayliner, let alone a Sea Ray or Chapparal.
