Hey Guys - I have a 1994 Evinrude 115 hp on a ski boat. The previous owner took the guages, so I just bought a used set of Faria guages. I figured out how to do all the wiring except for how to power the blade wire running to the lights (light bulbs) on the guages. Everything I have read mentions a blue wire that leads to the instrument light panels. I don't see one anywhere.

If I'm unable to locate it, where could I attach a new wire to run to the guages?

Thanks.

Wire them to the Nav side of the Nav/Anc switch.

You have to furnish the blue wire (Common wire color for the instrument lights).
You just plug your blue wire to that spade terminal next to the bulb and make sure you have a ground wire hooked to the gauge ground terminal.

You can power the gauge lights from the purple ignition wire if you want them to come on any time the engine is running. The light does help keep the moisture down inside the gauge.
