I own a small speedboat with a 1980 Yamaha 55hp 2 stroke (2 cyl) engine which i recently renovated. Now i want to install a tachometer. I do not own neither the gauge or any harness. I only know that i need a 4 pole tachometer
My question is dead simple: If i buy a 4 pole tach from let's say ebay, what other cable would i need? Would this cable connect directly to the engine or somewhere on the throttle control box??
