Attempting to hook this up on the above motor. The tach is a teleflex. I know I have a good dc source. The gauge zero's and the light comes on the rpm's worked. Drilled the holes connected everything back up, now the tach zero's but no tach needle. The teleflex manual says check the ac volts on the send pole. That will be the first thing I do. I did talk to a local guy at the merc shop, he said take the gray wire on the rectifier and connect to one of the the yellow leads. I know the rectifiers can be fried so does this advise sound resonable. Thanks.
