I just received a new old stock suzuki tach that hooks up to my harness I have a 1987 dt115 I hook it up and nothing is there a way of testing the taach and the signal coming from motor Thanks in advance
Ok so from what I found out is you can test the signal wire coming from motor with a multimeter. I believe it must show frequency black to ground red to signal wire. I also set meter to volts and it shows 10% of the actual rpms
